GREATER EASTSIDE JUNIOR FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Greater Eastside Junior Football Association (GEJFA) is comprised of 18 independent franchised Clubs, each Club responsible for its own registration and Club administration.  Thus, youth who live within the GEJFA coverage area (see below) who desire to play tackle football must register with the appropriate Club.

Players must register with the Club within whose boundaries they reside.  Club boundaries generally coincide with the public high school boundaries with very few exceptions.

Generally, all player applicants within the above boundaries must be accommodated by the respective Club in the order of registration up to the maximum number of players per team subject to GEJFA rules.  Youth residing outside the boundaries of the GEJFA program may pursue registration with a nearby GEJFA Club subject to that Club’s approval.

Registrations usually occur in the Spring between March and May.  Registrations should remain open until teams are full (meeting GEJFA requirements) at which time waiting lists may be established.  Ultimately, if a player cannot be accommodated by the Club in which he/she resides, he/she may request a transfer to a neighboring Club subject to approval of both of involved Clubs and GEJFA.

Registration information for each Club can be found on each Club’s web site.  These sites are accessible through the GEJFA web site (www.gejfa.net); they can be found under the “Club Websites” button in the left margin of the GEJFA web site home page.

Questions regarding a particular Club’s registration should be directed to that Club via their web site contact or via their Club Representative listed under the GEJFA Council Representative link in the left margin of the GEJFA web site home page (http://gejfa.net/reps1.htm).

Other questions regarding registration or GEJFA in general may be answered in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) under a link also in the left margin of the GEJFA web site home page (http://www.gejfa.net/pdfs/FAQS.pdf).
